Hi Paul,

There isn't one, specific age where someone "should" start hooking up (or an age they "should" wait until). People are ready for sex at different times, so focusing on when you, specifically, feel ready rather than on starting to have sex at some arbitrary age, is the way to go. We even have a whole tool to help people do that: Ready or Not? The Scarleteen Sex Readiness Checklist.
