Hello, I'm a 17 year old girl and I just used a vibrator for the first time. While I was taking it out though, I saw fresh blood on the end of it and got kind of concerned. I just got off my period so old blood was on it, but I didn't expect new blood to be there. It doesn't hurt or anything, all I saw was blood. Help or reassurance is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi burnermaybe,

We can't say for certain what's causing the bleeding, but there are a few likely options. One is that there's still a little spotting as your period ends, which is why it was fresh. It's also possible that you caused a slight tear while masturbating and it bled a little bit. Since it's not causing you pain, I would say it's not cause for concern.
