Can prescription lotions/ creams effect brith control?
I went to the dermatologist recently and she gave me Ammonium lactate 12% to use twice a day. It may seem silly to ask but I want to be sure if any type of prescription cream can make the pill less effective. I hear creams and all absorb through the skin and can make pills less effective.
I am currently on slynd which only have drospirenone.
Thank you!

Hello!
It seems like ammonium lactate is safe to use and does not affect birth control but I would also check in with your doctor to be sure.

Thank you, you were right! I also talked with my obgyn and she said nothing like that will affect birth control.
