Honestly I forgot they were 14. And like... I feel like shit honestly. That's a 2 year difference!!! Is that bad?? Nothing explicit really happened, only just my character getting flustered and whatnot.
I worry a lot about this stuff so it's hard to really just ignore,,

Hi dogt00th,
I'm sorry this has left you feeling so crummy!
A romantic--or even sexual--interaction between a 16 year old and a 14 year old isn't inherently bad. In fact, in most cases a two-year age gap isn't something most people bat an eye at, especially once you're out of high school. A concern with age gaps is that they can introduce a power imbalance in a relationship, but that's hard to do with just a two year difference, even in a situation like the teen years where two years can mean more of a difference between people in terms of development.
All that being said, do you know how the other person involved feels about this? Because it's your and their feelings about it that matter here.

And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
