Riding With Chronic Back Pain
Hey :)
I’m a trans guy with a cis boyfriend, and I’ve just wanted to ask if back pain could make it more difficult to ride someone? I’ve had back pain for a while because of my bad posture, and i’m trying to fix it, but still—is there any way to make it easier? We’ve been considering doing it but both he and i want to make sure that i’m not going to hurt my back any further.
Thanks!

Hi diegoneedshelp,
If we have recurring or chronic pain in a certain body part, that can sometimes make certain sexual positions harder to maintain or just not comfortable for us at all. You two could try out this position, which the agreement that if you notice your back starting to hurt, you'll stop and figure out something. That way you can explore something you're both interested in trying while lowering the chances that you'll aggravate your back further.

And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
