Hey, Alok!
So, “squirting” is not the same as an orgasm. It does happen when you’re really aroused, and it can happen both with and without an orgasm!
To answer your main question about whether or not you’re orgasming, it’s hard to say (you’re the only one living in your body and experiencing it, you know?), but I’m wondering if it might be helpful to read a bit more about orgasm and squirting, and see if that helps clear things up for you?
To start, we have an article on our site has a whole section on orgasm: what it is, what it can sometimes feel like, and what happens in your body during an orgasm. You can find it here:
Sexual Response & Orgasm: A User’s Guide. From that article,
It’s really tough to describe what an orgasm feels like. Not only does it differ from person to person, one person can experience any number of different sorts of orgasms that vary with every sexual experience, from day to day. Orgasm can feel like a tickle or a hiccup, but can also feel like a very heavy head rush or wave of dizziness through the whole body. Joani Blank described it in A Kids First Book About Sex, which is sadly out of print but may be available through your library, as feeling similar to when you really, really have to pee and then finally urinating. Overall, having an orgasm is a bit like being a balloon: your body fills up with pressure, then releases that pressure when it gets to its fullest point, much like a balloon does when it pops.
Does reading through that help a bit?
I also wanted to send you this one, it answers a lot of questions about squirting!
Squirt: On Ejaculation.
I’ll stop there for now, but let me know if that helped answer your questions or if you’d like more help! We’re here for you.
