Spotting in between periods
Spotting in between periods
So, on march 21st 2025 I had indirect contact with pre-cum via fingers and since then I have had regular periods every 28-34 days cycle variation, but the thing that worries me a bit is that i started spotting in between periods last cycle and this menstrual cycle.
Could spotting be linked to indirect contact with pre-cum and indicate pregnancy or its just a hormonal issue and I'm overreacting?
Also I have been tracking my period for quite a while and the spotting happens around my estimated ovulation due date but this time it happened 2 days after my estimated ovulation due date.

Re: Spotting in between periods
Hey there Lika! It’s good to see you back here
Spotting is very common, and it can certainly happen in between periods around ovulation. Too, since you haven’t done any activities that pose a risk to pregnancy, you can be sure this isn’t pregnancy-related! Is the spotting concerning in itself or bothersome to you?
Too, I see we mentioned this before in a previous thread, but it is pretty hard to estimate ovulation from a period app. It can tell you *when* you ovulated in the last cycle, but it can’t accurately predict when you will ovulate. So, I wouldn’t worry about that estimated date in relation to the spotting. Know what I mean?
