Other places to get advice like scarleteen but about different issues

I am having a lot of problems at the moment about having to live and work abroad for a year and I am really looking for advice and people to talk to. i really like this site for advice, it helps me a lot and the staff always give such good answers that arent just generic or things that ive obviously already considered ,- i always get a new helpful perspective. does anyone know of other advice boards like this one but where i can get advice on non sex/relationship/etc related topics?

I'm glad you've found our advice to be helpful! I'm not sure there are many independent forums like ours for other subjects... if you are looking for a similar experience, you could check Reddit. It is a social media platform with forums (subreddits) dedicated to different topics.

I will add that while it isn't youth-centered, Metafilter has managed to be and stay excellent online for as long as we have, which is a really rare thing: https://www.metafilter.com/

People can be very helpful and kind there, across a very wide array of topics, and it has always seemed very well-moderated.
