Zero female interactions

Greetings,
Myself a 20M with literally no female interactions but yearning for one. Ppl in my part of country are very my soo much conservative. I was born in the transition from millennials to Gen Z and currently idk which generation I belong to. The millen. didn't hav much influence by the western media and genders existed separately in schools and colleges and now most are married. Coming to genz after 2008, they hav def changed not only due to western media, their ideas have broaden and i witnessed my juniors in school hanging out normally ( ) and are in relationships well it may look lik exaggerated but its huge from my pov. Now coming to me, I want such things to happen in my life but nothing happens, my peers are soo my close minded even though I study in a high ranking private uni, the boys here especially the gang I hang out with, omg they are influenced by the sigma culture and maintain distance from girls and always make fun of me when I try to approach someone. That's rly sad but I get it some may say to change the gang but it's pretty difficult caz of tough schedule and surviving alone in uni is lik hell. Coming to the girl classmates they rly despise coming and talking to opposite gender :(
I rly lacked these stuffs in school and wanted to experience in uni but still nothing yet.
Suggest me some ways to make things easier or maybe it's my mindset that shd be changed .

Hey there Nerdyj0K3r, and welcome to the boards! :)

You know, it sounds to me like you see the value in talking to and approaching your women classmates, but your friends may be a bit behind on that. I can also appreciate that it doesn’t feel good at all when you get made fun of for trying to connect with people, especially by the people you hang out with.

I think the best way to interact with women is to do exactly that. It’s okay to approach people to try to get to know them, and it sounds like you’ve done that but get made fun of. I understand you don’t want to be alone or without the people you typically hang out with, but I also hear you saying that their mindset on women is distressing and that you may not agree with it, because you do want to talk to women. Do you see or know of anyone else in your uni who are more respectful or appreciative of your female classmates who you could hang out with a bit more? Also, have you ever spoken with these friends about their opinion on women, sharing that you have a different perspective and that you actually do want to connect with women?
