using my vibe too much??
I'm 16, have a vulva and have exclusively gotten off with a vibrator since 14. I don't know how to do it manually. I have two big worries/questions about this.
1. Will it physically or psychogically desensitize me? I'm worried that it will make it harder for me to get off with a potential partner.
2. does it damage the tissue in any way??
If either of these are true, is it fixable or am I screwed (no pun intended) forever?

Hi Fishisanxious!
1. No, using a vibrator won't make it harder for you to get off with a partner. Any numbness you experience is temporary. So, if you ever notice that, give yourself a break and it will all feel as sensitive as usual again.
2. Using a vibrator as intended should not damage the tissue in any way. As always, if you do notice pain during any kind of sex, take that as a sign that you should slow down or step back a little.
3. Re: not knowing how to do it manually--If you want, you could explore manual sex, but that really isn't a requirement.
Does this help with your worries? Feel free to let us know if you have any more questions!
