okay so around on the 5th day of my period i had unprotected sex w my boyfriend but he didn’t finish in me but im just scared of precum..I took a plan b on day 3 but i was in the 72h range of effectiveness..
That made me feel better that i took that plan b but i still have my doubts because i literally google everything it’s so bad…its very hard for me not too overthink..
But then I bought ovulation tests today and it says tht im not at peak ovulation but it seems like i was in my window i guess..( i really feel like the ovulation tests made my anxiety worse but should’ve i not done that ??)but im just looking for some guidance and reassurance because im so scared..im just really scared that plan b didnt work..please be nice..

Hi there. Sorry to hear you've been so anxious about all this. If he didn't finish in you and you took a plan B in the 72 hour range, your risk is very low. Of course with unprotected sex there's always a risk, so I highly suggest using protection (at least condoms, but possibly also birth control) since this has made you so anxious and you don't want to keep putting yourself in this situation. I can't reassure you whether you are or aren't pregnant, only a doctor or a pregnancy test could, but I can let you know the risk seems low here and that stress alters our hormones which can affect our period, so the best thing to do is work on lowering the stress and anxiety around this and waiting until it's time to take a pregnancy test so you can be 100% sure. <3
