sex toys
hi! i still don’t rlly know how to start off my posts here but have a very sensitive body which makes me struggle a lot to masturbate since almost every time i use my hands or an object it either feels like nothing, it’s uncomfortable, or overstimulating most of the time which has made me start thinking about getting a vibrator. but my problem is i’ve genuinely never even touched a sex toy in my whole life cause i’ve always felt embarrassed and scared to even do so LMAO. i’ve wanted one for awhile now but i’m worried that my mom would get mad at me for asking and it would be severely awkward or that when i’d get one it’d be uncomfortable to use and not good at all like everything i’ve tried which worries me and it’s mainly why i’m coming here
i have no idea where to even get a sex toy for my kinda body or how to bring it up to my mom so it won’t be weird. if anyone has any suggestions or something of what i should do it would be heavily appreciated cause i feel lost

Re: sex toys
Hi there, flowerzsophiaa! We'd be happy to help!
Finding a sex toy that you like isn't all too different from figuring out how you enjoy stimulation without a toy--it is really trial and error, and there isn't a toy that is guaranteed to make you feel good. There is every chance that you'll like a toy you buy, but with things like this, we have to accept that there is also an equal chance the toy won't feel comfortable. Do you think that you can do that?
At your age, you may be able to find sex toys in department stores. Or, you could order one online with your parents' permission. Doing so doesn't have to mean telling them the details of the purchase you want to make--it would be enough that they give you a budget, and know generally what the money is being used for. Another option would be to DIY a toy with what you have at home. We have a guide for that, if it is something you'd be interested in: D.I.Y Sex Toys: Self-Love Edition
If I may ask, what makes you think what your mother would get mad at you for asking to buy a toy? Has she ever talked about her expectations around sex and relationships for you?
