Could this mean something? :(

Hello. I’d like to fill you guys in first.

My last period ends in June 3rd. I had *protected* intercourse at 8th, and 13th. I took Plan B at 8th. None at 13th.

I think, it starts around 16-17th, that I notice there is a yellow-brownish dry, crusty discharge. Only a little, not alarming at all.

Then, at 18th, I noticed I had more discharge, maybe a small patch. Like, really, a small oval the size of a thumb. But light brown, and wet? Sticky? IDK.

I took a test at the 19th in the morning, turns out negative. A really bright negative. And then, (it’s evening now) I noticed that the discharge came out brown (like chocolate brown), and sticky.

Should I be worried? I’ve always been safe. Probably too safe.

Should I be alarmed? Take a test again next week?

Thank you for everyone who’d spend their time to read this and help me.

I’d attach a picture but I’m not sure if it’s appropriate

Hi there, Avaanti!

I'm hearing that you are worried about pregnancy. Don't worry, we can help you determine whether there is a risk of pregnancy at all, and help you through your next steps.

First, I'd like to ask a few questions to make sure we understand what is happening, and can give you reliable information:
  • What kind of protection did you use, when you had sex on the 8th and 13th?
  • You mentioned that you took plan B on the 8th. Am I correct in understanding that this is emergency contraception? Did you feel like you did not have enough protection for the sex you had that day, or like your protection was compromised?
Your symptoms sound like spotting, a type of light bleeding that isn't a period. Spotting is not reliable a sign of pregnancy, since it has many causes--it can in fact be a side effect of taking emergency contraception. If that is what is making you worried about pregnancy despite having had protected sex, I would say you don't need to worry.
I took a test at the 19th in the morning, turns out negative.
Testing is a good idea when you are worried about pregnancy, but you need to wait a little longer to have reliable results--at least two weeks. If you did want to take another pregnancy test, I would suggest waiting until the 27th of June.
Here is our resource on pregnancy tests, for your reference: Peeing on a Stick: All About Pregnancy Tests

Good thinking--we can't help with pictures here, and sharing them is against our terms of service. Though we can provide advice, we are not doctors, and so are not able to provide a physical examination of any kind.
