Well I’m 14 and screwed up I had unprotected yk my app said I was not ovulating but I’m having pregnancy symptoms and no way to get a pregnancy test I need money or order one bc I can’t drive so help me guys we did the pull out method and he did not nut that day so no left over sperm should of Been in his pre come he swears he did not nut in me we only had sex for like 3 mins max but im really worried and im so young i cant get a pregnancy test anywhere i need money or order one so bad i have cashapp but idk if I can get money im so screwed i was supposed to get my period today but it did not come sos guys.. ik a period a couple days late is not that bad but i need a test

Let's start with the facts: Unfortunately, vaginal intercourse does pose some risk of pregnancy. It isn't as high as it would be if your partner hadn't pulled out, but it is still something you would want to address. But you are right that periods can be be a couple days late without there being an issue. In fact, when we think of a period being on time, it is better to think of that being within a range of days, rather than on a single day. So, I wouldn't say you are late just yet. If you get your period, that will be a sure sign that you are not pregnant.

You've mentioned that you are having symptoms of pregnancy--can you tell us what you've noticed? And, can you tell us when you had sex? (That last question is important for two reasons: if it has been less than five days/120 hours since you had sex, you can take emergency contraception to reduce your risk of pregnancy. And a pregnancy test, on the other hand, is reliable at least two weeks after you've had sex.)

I'd also like to ask about people in your life who can help you with the logistics of getting access to emergency contraception/a pregnancy test. I understand it is not always possible, but do you think you can talk to the adults at home about visiting a pharmacy or clinic? What would happen if you told them?

I got my period!!! I’m so greatful I was having signs like my breast was sore and my lower back was sore but its my period I can tell it’s way to heavy to be spotting I was just a day late so phew

It might be helpful to know that pregnancy symptoms very, very rarely appear until a while *after* a period has already been late. That's because it takes around a week to even become pregnant after intercourse, if and when someone does, and then even more time than that for your hormones to start changing to create any symptoms. Things like back pain or breast pain also don't usually even happen until months into a pregnancy. What you were feeling were all very common pre-menstrual symptoms, though.

You might also want to know for the future that the standard deviation from cycle to cycle -- how different each one is in terms of number of days -- is about 4 days, so there's really no such thing as being one day late because no one should ever expect periods to come on an exact day or in an exact number of days each time.

Since it's clear you don't want to be pregnant, would you like some help negotiating condom use with your partner, getting some so you both can have them on hand, learning how to use them, and/or looking into other forms of effective contraception so you can be sure to prevent pregnancy as best you can?
