possible pregnancy scare and placebo

while i was giving my boyfriend head some semen or cum, whatever is the more accurate term came on my hand, and then a minute after my unwashed hand came in contact with my vagina, i didn’t insert my finger inside my vagina and it wasn’t a huge amount and my hand wasn’t soaked but it definitely wasn’t completely dry, could this get me pregnant? i’ve also since then, this was on sunday it’s now wednesday, been feeling random pain and or weird sensations in my stomach and my sides, could these be symptoms or am i hallucinating because of the stress or anxiety of this situation.

Welcome to the boards. <3
Nope, this isn't how pregnancy happens. This can present STI risks (particularly the unprotected oral sex), but not any realistic risk of pregnancy. Here's an article you can read and bookmark to fill you in on what risks some of the most common sexual activities people do present (or don't present):
Can I Get Pregnant, or Get or Pass On an STI From That?
Too, pregnancy takes several days to even begin -- no one can have symptoms of a pregnancy a couple days after a risk, because it doesn't even start to happen that fast. And people who do become pregnant will rarely experience ANY symptoms of pregnancy until they at least have missed a period, something that generally happens a couple weeks later, and many still won't have any symptoms even after that for a few weeks or longer. So nope, what you're feeling 100% is not from pregnancy. It could be gas, or a stomach bug, or even just stress.
You can read up on how pregnancy actually happens and all that's needed for it to be a real possibility -- which includes things like direct genital-to-genital contact -- here:
Human Reproduction: A Seafarer's Guide. If you still have questions about any part of the process after reading that, I'm happy to answer them for you.

Hey, just read the articles and i have two follow up questions.
One of the article states that oral sex can pose as a high risk of pregnancy if sharing is genital and involves contact between semen and the vulva, in my case there was no genitalia on genitalia at all, but there was semen on my hand that came in contact with my vulva, does this still not constitute as a risk?
and the second cause of concern i read in the articles was that,
sperm being fragile makes it as so that it can’t survive in an environment that isn’t fit for it due to temperature and other factors for a period longer than half an hour, however, in my case i’m talking about a mere 1 minute to maximum 3 minutes time gap before my hands came near or in close contact with my vagina or vulva, so does that mean that it could’ve still been viable enough to pose a risk of pregnancy or not since it was on my hands before it touched my vagina?

Happy to help!
I think you may have misread or misunderstood something, per your first question, or read something out of context. Neither of those pieces says that to the best of k=my knowledge (and I wrote them both, so have a pretty good sense of what I've said). Can you show me what you're reading with a cut and paste of the text you're referring to so we can get a better look at it together?
Per the second thing you're asking about, you're kind of skipping past the most important thing that makes what you did an unlikely pregnancy risk and focusing on temperature. What makes what you did something that isn't at all likely to pose a risk of pregnancy isn't about temperature, it's about the fact that you did NOT have direct genital-to-genital contact OR a direct route for semen from your partner's penis to your vagina. Without those things, it really doesn't matter how long semen, and the sperm cells within it, have been hanging around outside the body. Does that make sense?

Okay got it so regardless of the small time frame in which my hands with the semen on it touched my vagina, because the semen touched my hand first so it lost all its viability at all to be a pregnancy risk whatsoever, meaning that it’s unnecessary to take a plan b and cause my period to possibly come later and cause me extra anxiety. So takeaway, there’s no way at all a semen to hand to vagina transfer can cause pregnancy, right?

Hey there: I'm confused -- are you the same user who started this thread? It looks like you are the same person who has made two accounts here. As we make clear in our user agreement -- the thing you clicked "I agree" to when you registered both times -- it isn't okay to do that. It also isn't okay to give us false or misleading information, like saying you are in two different places in your locations or giving us two different birthdates for you.
I'll circle back to answer you, but first we need to clear this up, and that will likely include us deleting one of these accounts and any other extras you may have made with us.

Hi, I’m really sorry for the confusion and for creating another account. I lost access to my original account because my brother found it and is now monitoring the email associated with it, so I no longer feel safe using that account. I’m currently using my brother’s laptop and don’t have much time before he comes back.
I sincerely apologize for making a second account. I didn’t realize that having multiple accounts wasn’t allowed when I agreed to the terms, and I understand why this raised concerns.
Regarding the different birthdates, I was panicking and entered a random date while trying to register quickly. I wasn’t trying to deliberately mislead anyone about who I am or create problems for the site. The same applies to any inconsistent information I entered.
I’m very sorry for the confusion and any extra work or disturbance this has caused. I’m happy for the account I can no longer safely access to be deleted, and I would really appreciate being able to continue using this account instead. Thank you for understanding.

I appreciate that, and I get it. If and when there's a next time like this, just drop us an email -- there's a contact link for us in the "about us" link at the bottom of every page -- and let us know what's going on first. Thanks, and I'm sorry that with a pregnancy worry, you also had to deal with a privacy worry, too. I'm also sorry that it sounds like your brother is not being respectful of you and your privacy, that really stinks.

. I'll toss that old account for you in a minute.
I don't see any reason for emergency contraception here, no. Again, sperm cells are delicate, and they need the fluids they are ejaculated with and the momentum that ejaculation creates to help them even get to the cervix and to help them stay motile within the acidic environment of the vagina. They can't just walk or float there on their own or via vaginal fluids alone.
Again, the only concerns I'd have per health issues with unprotected oral sex are if you or your partner are not up to date with your STI screenings, because unprotected oral sex *can* present STI risks. It's also pretty clear that this made you feel scared and uncomfortable, so I'd say it's worth thinking about if you need to change up what you're doing or how you're doing it so that it can better match what you need in order to feel secure and okay with the sex you're having. Sex can only feel so good, after all, if it comes with a ton of stress to manage in its aftermath. <3

Thank you so much for being so understanding and supportive of my circumstances. The whole act itself isn’t at all smth that makes me nervous or scared it’s the whole idea that i could have or could get pregnant as as much as i love being intimate with my boyfriend, me getting pregnant would ruin both our lives due to the nature of our families and us being unable to continue our education and so much shame from our community that’s why i was making sure time and time again that there’s no possible way what so ever that semen from hand to vagina can get me pregnant and that i don’t have to worry about getting my hands on a plan b and risk it messing with my cycle and add more stress if my period is late above the already existing symptoms from the nervousness that made me fear even more that i could be pregnant.

I understand, and it's okay, truly.
I do just want to make sure that you both are able, especially given your situation with your families, to get STI screenings. If you never have, and one or both of you can't, I'd strongly suggest using condoms for oral sex or any other kind of sex you two engage in that comes with STI risks. Most STIs are treatable, even curable, but if a person gets one and can't get tested to know and to get treated, some can also have pretty giant impacts on your health and life, too. <3
It also sound like, for your own peace of mind, you'd probably just feel better washing your hands before and after any sexual contact with his genitals before you have any with yours, and that's usually pretty easy. It's so much easier to not do things that cause us to spiral into anxiety than it is to deal with a spiral once it starts.

Duly noted will try to manage to get a screening and take extra precautions if a next time
happens.
But, just for one last peace of mind, given everything we talked about there is absolutely 0% that semen to hand to vagina could lead to pregnancy and that any symptom i’m now experiencing is just purely stress and that there is no need whatsoever for a planb, right?

Juts make sure he gets a screening, too! One person can't be screened for more than that one person, and since we don't always pick up infections a partner has, it's vital all partners get regularly tested, not just one. <3
Yep, I feel comfortable saying you had a 0% risk of pregnancy here, and again, people can't have symptoms of pregnancy sooner than a pregnancy can actually happen and develop enough to cause symptoms. If you think Plan B will make you feel any better emotionally, that'd be a reason to take it, but I think in making that choice you also need to think about how you'll feel if it causes you to miss any periods.

We’re scheduled to get tested in two day, thank you for bringing my attention to that.
I was doing some more scanning on this topic on here to see similar cases, and i came across this board where this was a concern on fingers coming in contact with a vagina after semen being on it and someone from the scarleteen team answerinf and saying :

Like Sofi said, sperm is very fragile. After 40 minutes, it's incredibly unlikely any sperm was alive on your hands,
Now, because i’m often prone to understanding things in wrong ways so want to make sure this isn’t the case, does this mean that a shorter time frame between the ejaculation on the hand and then the hand touching the vagina (1 minute) could make it that the sperm in the semen was still viable to impregnate me as a long time frame didn’t pass? Or since, regardless of the tiny timeframe between the semen on my hands coming in contact with my vagina, not being a direct penis to vagina ejaculation that it’s not possible because the force you had explained needing to be there wasn’t present and because that, regardless of how tiny my time frame is compared to this other persons, the sperm wouldn’t survive being on my hand and not directly into my vagina. (making sure i understood everything you’ve been teaching me from the articles)

Hi franticteen!
Heather is off for the night so I thought I'd let you know that you are correct in your understanding of all she has said on this thread.
I know that pregnancy risk is a scary and stressful thing for you but I promise back and forth reassurance seeking is only gonna perpetuate that worry.
If it is helpful to reread Heather's explanation that sounds ok, but I think taking some time for selfcare is a good next step. Are there tools you have to relieve stress in other ways?
