Hi again, icecreamqueen3.
We've talked about similar things with you before, and I'm pretty sure the answer is that you do have a fear of missing out, so that's how you are feeling. You also have voiced feeling left out, so that's also how you're just feeling. Feeling like you aren't a part of the conversation also makes sense when you aren't part of the conversation: you aren't someone having sex, so you also aren't someone bragging or otherwise talking about it.
Mind, bragging about having sex isn't generally something that's part of actually-healthy sexual interactions, and it also displays a lack of maturity on the part of the people doing it. People who brag to everyone about sex also are often not even telling the truth. You have to ask yourself why someone feels the need to brag: sometimes it's because the sex they are having isn't actually satisfying or what they want or expect, so they're telling other people differently to make themselves feel better. I don't think any of this is something to feel envy about, IMHO.
Regardless, just because you don't have having sex in common with a given group of people doesn't mean you can't have friends and hang out with friends who you have more in common with, or who you even have NOT being sexual with other people yet in common. We shouldn't need to be doing all the same things another person is to have friends or feel good about ourselves,l especially since that alone will rarely make us feel good or be required to have friendships. <3
