Birth Control Pill Question
Hi, I've been on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo for about 2 years now and I recently almost took one of the pills out of order. They were both inactive pills and by the time i realized it I spit it out and put it back and took the correct pill for that particular day. I ended up saving the wrong pill that I took and ended up taking it when i was supposed to. It was during the week with the dark blue pills before the week with the green "inactive pills." My question is: Am I at risk for my birth control failing even though I realized just in time that I had done this out of order? I didn't actually swallow the wrong pill, so I think I'm alright.

Re: Birth Control Pill Question
Hi Natural,
If they were the same kind of pill in the pack, and you did not miss any pills, then there should not have been a decrease in effectiveness.

And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
