dumb question about striptease

do the poles pole dancers use spin or do the performers actually go around them? or does it vary?

All the pole dancers I know actually go around them. If there are poles that spin while the dancer holds on, I have never heard of that.

If you're interested in seeing pole dancing and not able/interested in going to a club, there are (non-sexual) pole dance competitions, and you can see many videos from those on YouTube.

There are spinning poles that people can use to perform dancing on. Although I do not think that in strip clubs those are very popular. There are some poles that help to have a better grip also it just depends what the person would enjoy!
