Can bleeding stop altogether from birth control?
I went to a doctor after skipping a few withdrawal bleeds (and confirmed with multiple tests that I am not pregnant). She told me the bleeding can lessen after taking the pills for a long time, and while usually my bleeding comes back every other month or so, it's very light. However, the past two months I have not bled at all and I am not pregnant. Can withdrawal bleeding stop altogether on the pill?

Hi chickenkatsu,
Light withdrawal bleeds are a possible side effect of the pill, and some people on the pill do find that they don't get a withdrawal bleed at all sometimes. Since you've already ruled out pregnancy and checked in with a healthcare provider about your concerns, you can assume that's this is a side effect of your pill.

And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
