Delete posts

Hello. I’m wondering if you could delete all the my post history? And if not, just the most recent one “OCD is ruining my life” I feel lots of shame right now and i realize that making posts here won’t do me any good. I am also ashamed with how personal I was, and it makes me anxious. I feel like I’m being heavily judged and that a bunch of random people online think I’m this disgusting freak who has such thoughts and ideas. I think i shouldn’t make anymore posts here because I fear it will feed into my reassurance seeking. I saw other accounts ask for deletion, only allowing the staff to see the posts. I’m okay with that. As long as i don’t see any of it. Thank you so much <3

We don’t usually delete posts, but I will ask about moving your post to a section of the boards only that only staff and volunteers can see.

You are not being judged at all, certainly not by those who volunteer and work here. I think at least a few of us are familiar with that it’s like to struggle like you are right now, so we understand. You have nothing to be ashamed of, you are not disgusting, and I fully believe you are trying your best to manage this.

Even if it’s advisable for you to avoid reassurance seeking around your OCD, you can still spend time with people for support. Don’t isolate yourself.

. I’d love it if you could move my posts only staff can see. I will be aware of this site for support. If possible, can you move the ones that were posted in 2024 as well?

Okay, I’ve got approval to move your older posts to the vault. I’ll do that right now! I wanted you to know, too, there’s nothing to be ashamed of here. You’re not bad or disgusting, and you’re not alone. From one person in OCD treatment to another, I hear you, I think you’re being really strong and doing good things for yourself by asking for something that would help you limit triggers, and I’m rooting for you. <3
