ok so.. seriously, are there any spaces at all for minors to discuss nsfw topics freely?

If it doesn't seem to fit anywhere else, this is probably the place for it.

so....subject title says more than enough. I've been looking for a while but I can't find anything so I wound up making an account here to ask. I did see a thread regarding this a month or two ago I think but if i recall correctly it summarised as a whole lot of I Think This Should Exist, But It Doesn't Yet, And I Won't/Can't Make It Myself

Has there been any progress on that front or is such a thing still a hypothetical? The only spaces that have ever let me discuss topics of that nature without having my age thrown at me every two seconds if not immediately banned are uhm... "MAP" discord servers or "proship" communities, one of which is arguably much more dangerous than the other but both are communities I'd rather never dip my toes into ever again.

For the record I am NOT looking to send nudes to fellow minors or any sort of real life content or some crazy shit like that, I just want to be able to broach the topic of sex or discuss character headcanons or share some art without being burnt at the stake for it because I was born a couple years too late 😑

Hi there, and welcome to the boards!

You are, right now, right here, at one of the few spaces online, and the longest running, expressly meant for young people to be able to both safely -- because we moderate -- and freely -- because this is what we do here -- talk about things like sex and sexuality. That's been the case here since we opened the boards in 2000.

One thing, however, we can't do here is have people sharing images of any kind, because unfortunately, too many people don't have good boundaries around that or would share things like nudes (including older adults). So, the ability to share images here has always been disabled for that reason.
