My big problem is that, no matter what I do, I "orgasm" within seconds and touching myself no longer feels good. I put orgasm in quotes because, even though it textbook sounds like an orgasm (the sensation builds, peaks, causes muscle reactions, and leaves my clit too sensitive to touch) im almost 99% it's not actually an orgasm because it only feels kind of good and never leaves me actually satisfied. the amount of time it's taken for this "orgasm" to happen has been getting shorter and shorter, with recent sessions pretty much been me getting my fingers down there, feeling that sensation rise and peak within like three seconds, and then having to accept that im done for the night because it just feels like nothing or discomfort now. what am i doing wrong? or could this actually be like a body problem. idk, I'm so done.

masturbation isnt fun anymore
I've read a lot from this site and have never posted before, but my frustration has hit an all time high. im 17 and have been masturbating a couple times a month for about a year, and have concluded that's there's either something wrong with my method or my anatomy

Hi Rena_q! That sounds so frustrating, I'm sorry that you've been struggling with this! People's bodies can range a lot in sensitivity and it's also true that how intense/pleasurable an orgasm feels can vary as well. Many young people find that their early orgasms are less intense and pleasurable, but this can change as you get older and can change as you learn more about what your body likes. So no need to fear that this is any kind of permanent problem!
The first thing I'd suggest is to experiment a bit and see if there is anywhere that feels pleasurable to touch but is not as stimulating as directly touching your clit. For example, some people with sensitive clitorises prefer touching their labia or touching their vulva through a barrier, like their underwear. You could also experiment with touching other parts of your body besides your vulva and see if you can find other sensations that feel pleasurable but don't send you to orgasm right away.
Another method some people use is touching and pausing when they start to feel that quick build up. You can combine these two things together, too. So if you touch your clit and start to feel that sensation build too fast, you could try stopping and touching your thighs/torso/breasts/wherever instead. Then, try touching your clit again. Even if you're just touching your clit for a second at a time, this stopping and starting method can help slow down the whole experience, and it can also help your body break the "habit" of getting to orgasm so quickly.
What do you think of these ideas? Do they sound like something that could be worth trying?
