Long cycle
My gf got her period last year which is july she is 15 year old. Her cycle are 40 days, 22 days, 68 days, 35 days, and current cycle which is still ongoing because she still doesn't have her period is 72 days. Is it normal for her period to be this long because it's not been long since she got it?

Re: Long cycle
Hi Yohanz,
Period irregularity is really common, especially in the first few years of someone having it. Even just looking at the other cycle lengths, you can see that she's someone who has quite a bit of variation in the length of her menstrual cycle. So this in and of itself isn't cause for concern.

And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
